Provides a foundation to diagnose and treat reading problems in the general education classroom. This course will define the nature and causes or reading problems, develop skills in diagnosing reading problems, develop knowledge of diagnostic instruments, present a variety of reading strategies to tread different reading problems, and develop student skills in planning for reading problems and working with other professionals and parents.
