The course provides the student with a practical application of information technology services. Each student will apply the skills and knowledge of the prerequisite course work form the Information Systems concentration curriculum. This is a course which allows a student to work in a business firm and receive academic credit. A written agreement between the student, the college, and the business firm, detailing the parameters of the internship, must be approved by the business internship coordinator before a student is permitted to register for the course. 180 hours of work must be related to information systems and be supervised by a manager. Reports and evaluations are required. Senior status only. Prerequisite: Grade of �C-� or better in IS 342 and an application and interview completed with the internship coordinator.
