Biology I lab complements the Principles of Biology I class. Activities include basic scientific measurements, light microscopy, analysis of the cell, testing the pH of a range of substances, examining diffusion and osmosis, studying macromolecules, understanding mitosis, meiosis, as well as the principles of Mendelian genetics. Co-requisite: BIO 111L. Student cannot enroll in this course if student has credit for SC 111. Lab 2 hours weekly.
